(TAE40110)




The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment consists of 10 units – seven (7) core
and three (3) elective units as follows:

  • TAEASS403B Participate in assessment validation

  • TAEDEL401A Plan, organise and deliver group-based learning

  • TAEDEL402A Plan, organise and facilitate learning in the workplace

  • TAEDES401A Design and develop learning programs

  • TAEDES402A Use training packages and accredited courses to meet client needs


  • ELECTIVE UNITS

  • TAEASS301B Contribute to assessment

  • TAEDEL301A Provide work skill instruction

  • TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills.

    DELIVERY METHOD

    The Australian Institute of Education & Training provide Certificate IV TAE training through direct delivery, with students attending AIET or onsite premises for a 12 day program, in block or weekly format. Certificate IV TAE programs are run with smaller groups sizes, which each course enrolling a maximum of 10 students, allowing AIET staff to ensure the highest quality training programs complete the course and to actively participate in the training program.

    RECOGNITION OF PRIOR LEARNING

    There are a variety of options available to participants to complete the TAE40110 using previous training and experience.



    Upgrading from TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

    If you have this qualification, plus recent training and assessment experience, you may qualify for an RPL pathway to TAE 40110. RPL pathways are also available for a range of skills and qualifications. Please complete the self assessment tool in the AIET Certificate IV TAE Program Information Guide for for information.

    Diploma of Vocational Education & Training (TAE50111)

    The Diploma of Vocational Education & Training consists of 10 units – six (6) core
    and four (4) elective units as follows:
